North Gas Company needed a complete process compressor for its plant in Kirkuk. MTE supplied the entire package: machine, auxiliaries and documentation, financed and shipped as one contract. Twelve years later the same file is still open — we carry the spare-parts programme for that unit and deal directly with the original manufacturer's group as the plant ages.
Complete flanged safety valves with spare parts, for operation and common units — the kind of package most traders break into pieces. Built in Korea, witness-inspected at the works by a third-party inspector, certificate of origin legalised at the Iraqi Embassy in Seoul, freight and marine insurance arranged out of Busan, cleared through Umm Qasr and formally handed over in December 2023.
MTE won the mechanical seals and gaskets tender, posted the letter of guarantee through its Turkish bank and delivered. Three months later the same state buyer placed a second consecutive order with us for the same Japanese manufacturer's equipment — including full End-Use Certificate compliance. Repeat business from a state oil company is the hardest signal in this trade to manufacture.
Specification arguments end quickly when the buyer's own engineers have stood on the shop floor. MTE organises and accompanies client delegations to manufacturers' works in Japan and Korea — witnessing tests, reviewing quality systems and training on the equipment they are about to operate. Few traders in this market will do it; it is why our technical clarifications close faster.
